I just updated my installation notes for Hubzilla. It now includes command lines for installing addons to make things quicker.

@Scott's Code Journal I find it useful at least :) It makes it really easy to test code changes as you go, and it's convenient to have a local environment that I can nuke at any moment and start from scratch.

And with the right setup I can even connect the debugger and set breakpoints and single step the code to see what's going on.

I know @Mario Vavti has done some experiments booting two local hubs in this environment and has successfully been able to test federation between them.

I added some hidden configs that I use.

util/config system default_profile_photo circle_person

util/config system reserved_channels admin,administrator,mod,moderator,owner,info

You might find them useful.
